How to correctly regulate the operation of CNC machine tools to ensure safe production

CNC machine tool is an automatic machine tool equipped with a program control system. The structure of CNC machine tools is relatively complex, and the technical content is quite high. Different CNC machine tools have different uses and functions.

In order to ensure the personal safety of CNC machine tool operators, reduce man-made mechanical accidents, and ensure smooth production, all machine tool operators must strictly abide by the machine tool operating specifications.

1. Wear protective equipment (overalls, safety helmets, protective glasses, masks, etc.) before operation. Female workers should tuck their braids into the caps and keep them from being exposed. Wearing slippers and sandals is strictly prohibited. During operation, the operator must tighten the cuffs. Tighten the placket, and it is strictly forbidden to wear gloves, scarves or open clothes to prevent hands from getting caught between the rotary chuck and the knife.

2. Before operation, check whether the components and safety devices of the machine tool are safe and reliable, and check whether the electrical part of the equipment is safe and reliable.

3. Workpieces, fixtures, tools, and knives must be firmly clamped. Before operating the machine tool, observe the surrounding dynamics, remove objects that hinder the operation and transmission, and operate after confirming that everything is normal.

4. During practice or tool setting, you must keep in mind the magnifications X1, X10, X100, and X1000 in the incremental mode, and choose a reasonable magnification in a timely manner to avoid collisions with the machine tool. The positive and negative directions of X and Z cannot be mistaken, otherwise accidents may occur if you press the wrong direction button.

5. Correctly set the workpiece coordinate system. After editing or copying the processing program, it should be checked and run.

6. When the machine tool is running, it is not allowed to adjust, measure the workpiece and change the lubrication method to prevent the hand from touching the tool and hurting the fingers. Once a dangerous or emergency situation occurs, immediately press the red “emergency stop” button on the operation panel, the servo feed and spindle operation will stop immediately, and all movement of the machine tool will stop.

7. Non-electrical control maintenance personnel are strictly prohibited from opening the electrical box door to avoid electric shock accidents that may cause casualties.

8. Choose the tool, handle and processing method for the material of the workpiece, and confirm that there is no abnormality during processing. When using an inappropriate tool or tool holder, the workpiece or tool will fly out of the equipment, causing injury to personnel or equipment, and affecting machining accuracy.

9. Before the spindle rotates, confirm whether the tool is installed correctly and whether the high speed of the spindle exceeds the high speed requirement of the tool itself.

10. Be sure to turn on the lighting when installing the equipment, so that the staff can confirm the internal status and real-time operation status of the machine.

11. Cleaning and maintenance work such as maintenance, inspection, adjustment, and refueling must be performed by personnel who have received professional maintenance training, and it is strictly forbidden to operate without turning off the power.
